Self-taught artist Bryan Berg is the holder of the Guinness World Record for the world's tallest house of free standing playing cards. He obtained the record at the age of seventeen with a structure built over fourteen feet tall. Since then, Berg has broken his record more than ten times. Believe it or not, he uses just ordinary playing cards; no glue, tape, staples or bends.

As of 2010, the tallest formation Berg has created was for the lobby of a Casino in Berlin, Germany (Casino Potsdamer Platz) and towered over 25 feet tall. The structure utilized over  1,700 decks in total.

Imagine if Bryan Berg used genuine 1970 Jerry’s Nugget Playing Cards to build his monstrous towers. At 2009's JN's open market price of $175 per deck, Mr. Berg's tallest freestanding structure would cost an astounding $297,432.00 to build.

That's some expensive real estate!

Math break down: $175 USD per deck divided by 54 cards per deck equals $3.24 per card. 1,700 decks total 91,800 cards. 91,800 cards multiplied by $3.24 per card = $297,432.00 USD
